Markham RMT For MVA (Motor Vehicle Accidents)

What is Registered Massage Therapy for MVA?

Registered Massage Therapy is a specialized form of massage therapy that focuses on treating specific injuries and illnesses. RMT is also used to improve your overall health.

What can I expect from a Registered Massage Therapist?

Your first visit with an RMT for MVA will be a thorough assessment of your condition, pain levels, and any other symptoms you may be experiencing. Your massage therapist will take this time to assess your condition and determine the best RMT treatment for you.

Your subsequent sessions will proceed in the same way as your first session. In each session, your therapist will discuss your current symptoms and how you’re experiencing them. They will also work to identify any new symptoms that may have emerged since your last visit.

Types of treatment under Registered Massage Therapy for MVA:

  • Trigger point therapy
  • Myofascial release therapy
  • Joint mobilization (soft tissue work)
  • Muscle energy techniques
  • Graston Technique
